About Me

Hello, Greetings from Singapore.  I love reading, writing, photography, food, music, watching movies & performances, and many many others, practically everything under the sun.  I hope to make this into an interactive blog, to share on what I have read, discovered and learned along the way.  Thank you for stopping by, I hope you’ll be inspired by what you read, and I in yours.  Best Wishes to all of you with God’s Blessings filling your cup to the brim.

My Passion in Reading started…
…only after knowing about Bookcrossing in 2004 through a local Pass-it-on Campaign.  It was started by our National Library Board (NLB) and Starbucks, with SingTel sponsoring 5,000 second-hand books, encouraging people to read and pass them on. We could pick up any books from a wicker basket located at every participating Starbucks outlet, read and then pass on the book. This was where I came to know about bookcrossing. I found this to be very interesting knowing I could share my reads with others just like the message from its site says: “You know the feeling you get after reading a book that speaks to you, that touches your life, a feeling that you want to share it with someone else. Bookcrossing.com gives you a simple way to share books with the world, and follow their paths forever!”

From the bookcrossing community, I came to read more and learn about more authors.  My passon in reading was reignited, as now there are people whom I can share my reads with.  I can also participate in rays and rings, receive books from fellow book lovers, all these make reading more engaging, adventurous and so much fun.  Also I like it if the stories are make into movies, and I can watch the action on screen.

My favourite reads are thrillers, mysteries, supernatural, fantasies, adventures, true crime files, historical, bios, memoirs, children’s books and fairy tales.  As for chick-lit, think I would prefer to watch it on screen than read.  Some of the movies I have enjoyed are Animation, Fantasies & Action-packed – Ratatouille, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Pan Labrynth & Ip Man.
